This week during IPW. We started on our project report. My group started out with a draft. Mrs Tan-Goh then give us a quick brief on what should we include in our report. My group will also be presenting the prototype some time soon, which we are also working on.

During IPW lesson this week we finalised the results of the survey. Mrs Tan-Goh then showed us how to present our results using Microsoft excel. We did the pie charts and it would be included in the report. we also discussed about how to make and make a prototype of our product during the March Holidays.

We came up with the guiding questions and we decided on the product, a insect repellent-cum-bug killer spray/stick/roll-on stick. We then also came up with some survey questions to ask people on what type of insect repellent-cum-bug killer they want. We will to research on the topic at home and combine it together.

week 6: Today, we came up with survey questions to see how the people would want the product to be like. We were about to start our research but unfortunately we did not have enough time.

week 5 Reflections: We came up with the guiding questions and decided on some insect repellent-cum-bug killer spray/stick/roll-on stick all yours to choose.but i am a little worried about what are they going to use to make that repellent.

during that ipw lesson we talk about our really boring subject-infectious diseases.we all thought that this subject is too big so we came up with an idea:we choose A disease and work on it,pretty nifty right?
now that we are all happy that our work is reduced we started to ask ourselves questions related to the topic they have chosen.why?why?why?and more whys come out but time is not with us ,the bell rang...

Reflections for week 4 ( Jia Wen No.25)

During the week 4 IPW lesson, each of us came up with a few guiding questions for our topic, infectious diseases. During the discussion, we came up with a sub-topic , dengue fever. We did not have enough time to carry out with the rest of the research hence our group mate will send us the guiding questions to carry out research on our own.

during ipw lesson we managed to choose a topic which i thought it was not very good if you ever have read the topics 50% of the time you will say infectious disease is what your group choose.And i will say "WOW you read my mind!!!".
we short listed more than 20 topics from around 50 topics than short list it again from more than 20 topics to around 5 and they choose this really nice topic.i think it is easy to do by googling but what if they want some testing??I will run.

Today during IPW lesson , we schemed through the different topics for our IPW and selected some of them. We then used the elimination method to choose our topics. We selected a few and decided to choose the one on "Infectious Diseases". We did not have enough time to do our research hence, we will continue our research on "Infectious Disease" on our next IPW lesson or at our own time.

Today, we were suppose to choose the topic for our group. My team shortlisted quite a few topics but ultimately we chose the one on 'infectious diseases'. We did not have time to start researching on the topic as we did not have enough time to do so. We would be starting our research soon.

Reflections:
Today, for GRACE we chose our group topic, we had many choices but we selected the one on the study of weather and spread of infectious disease in Singapore. However, we were unable to start on our research due to time constraint. I will post the worksheets from week 1-3 next week

during ipw where were told to choose what we wanted to do,like reserching and doing the report,and it turns out that they chose the role for me.so in the end i need to get the report done while they can reserch all they want.we have not thought of a topic to do but i thought than water is a good topic.that is all.for now.

Today's refection of GRACE: Today we choose our groups for the project and assigned the duties for the project. We also created our GRACE blog and invited our group members to be a part of the blog. We then named our group flying cow. We after that downloaded the GRACE lesson powerpoint into our macbook.

Reflections: Today, we named our group and assigned roles. I was chosen to be the leader, while Jia wen and thomas were chosen as the researchers and wen chao as the secretary. Our group was named flying cows. We were then told to go through the power point slides. We still have not got a topic for our group.

My reflection(Loh Jian Hao 27)

Today, my group have chosen our team name and the roles of the members. We did not really do anything except for choosing the roles, my team name is: flying cows, and my role is the researcher together with jia wen. Niven is the group leader and wen chao is the secretary. We will be thinking about what topic our team will be doing about and hopefully we can do it well.
